Update
Hello Buddies,
Well i am horrible at making time to acutually blog. I have been quiet around here but have been coming on often and checking in on everyone kinda on the outside looking in. After my last blog months back, I did follow what the nutritionist said for a couple weeks and lost a few pounds then but then stopped following what she said and gained them back then i tried some fad diet lost a few pounds gained them back again and then this happened again a couple times (pathetic i know!). So I pretty much spent a few months yo-yoing up and down between these same 10 miserable pounds. In the past month or so however, i have just been cutting calories and lost back those stubborn 10 yo-yoing pounds (probably water weight since it came on and off so easily) plus i have lost another 10 pounds on top of that so 20 all together. I could have obviously lost more if i had followed what the nutritionist said months ago, however I am still happy that I weigh 20 pounds less than when i went to her and not 20 pounds more! Even tho it’s not a huge deal i am pretty happy to have lost those 10 pounds that kept coming on and off plus another 10 and get over that little bump in this looong road! Other than cutting calories i’ve made some simple changes like for instance if i want pasta i’ll still have it and i still eat as much of it as i want except for until i’m full and not uncomfortably stuffed and instead of eating regular pasta i’ll eat the ronzoni healthy heart wheat pasta or their smart taste pasta, i enjoy both and they both have less calories and more fiber than regular pasta. Or for instance since I work second shift and go to school I don’t really get time to cook much so for dinner at work i’ll eat a frozen ww meal and maybe bring in some rabi or spinach or brocolli that i made at home as a side and to help fill me and balance the meal. For breakfast (which i’ve starting eating since i’m back in school and out and about earlier) i will sometimes have a banana and some oj which both have lots of potassium and there for help balance sodium which equals less water weight. In addition I have cut down on drinking alcohol and when i do drink i will get diet soda as a mixer instead of cranberry juice as i used to. I have not exercised intentionally at all, although i should have and i will eventually add that in, however, i recently started school again after a couple of semesters off. I think that helps also since i am a little less bored and probly getting more exercise then i realize walking around the campus and then rushing to work afterwards. So even tho i know that probably half of those 20 pounds I lost was water weight, i’m still happy and its enough to keep me motivated for a little while and get me excited to keep goin! Hope everyone is doing well, thanks for reading
Tara
